I own multiple pairs of red shoes...ballet flats, heels, boots. I love red shoes. I mean, what is not to love! You can be wearing an entirely bland outfit and slap on some red flats, and BOOM...suddenly you have just added oodles of personality to your look. Without the red shoes, Dorothy would have just been wearing a gingham jumper on the way to OZ....not cool, Dot. Maybe it is just the easy way out of fashion, but in my world, it works.
For me, picking out the peek.a.boo fabrics to then send off into the world is like shopping for yet another pair of red shoes...or perhaps like letting off a handful of colorful balloons (which I don't think is allowed anymore due to it being environmentally inappropriate - however..I recall doing this quite a bit as a child) I hope that aside from being practical, that each dodu peek.a.boo creates a fun accessory with a pop of color and personality!!
Almost forgot...got my new fabric and there are 6 new designs getting ready to take shape...check back for pictures.
